I had a fabulous experience at the ranch. The team made me feel very welcome and did a great job bringing me into their world. I'm quite tall so I rode a gorgeous draft-quarterhorse named Bella Luna through the desert and along the beach in an experience that I will never forget. Passing through the massive cacti and seeing desert rabbits sprint about was magical. Experiencing that environment on horseback was incredibly special because it's largely inaccessible unless you're on an ATV or something like that. If you love horses and other animals (goats, sheep, cows, and all their babies!) and want to see the Sonoran desert up close and away from the tourist hustle, I highly recommend this experience. Huge thanks to Jhonny, Lalo, Jeffrey, Richard, and Jose for making me feel like both a celebrity and part of the family for a day!
We have traveled the world and are Airbnb Superhosts in the USA. We will be hard pressed to find another experience in La Paz...or anywhere, for that matter...to rival our day at Rancho San Lorenzo. Last year, we booked an experience with Lalo and Jonny, so we knew their offerings and communication were top notch. They have really outdone themselves by offering access to the otherworldly paradise that is Rancho San Lorenzo - 1000 acres of animal sanctuary where the multitude of horses, sheep, goats, cattle, chickens, geese and more, are treasured. The staff at the ranch are kind, outgoing, skilled and accommodating. Our horseback ride was customized for us and our varying riding abilities. This experience...and the Rancho itself...is magical and can be appreciated by all ages.
It was an extraordinary day, the landscape of the entire route is spectacular, the horse that I had to ride was very friendly, the food and the luxury stay, it was a magical day and a lot of fun. Thank you for the welcome, this special experience is highly recommended
